We Believe
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives. (1 Thessalonians 2:13, 2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:21)
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy. (John 1:1, John 1:14, John 1:18, John 14:28, John 15:26, John 16:28, Philippians 2:6)
We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives. (John 14:6, Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:14, Ephesians 2:8, 1 John 3:8)
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life. (John 1:1, John 3:16)
We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives. (John 3:3-5, John 3:16, 2 Corinthians 7:10, 1 John 5:12)
We believe that following salvation we need to be obedient to the bible and be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts. (Matthew 28:19, Acts 8:36-39,Acts 2:4,38, Acts 19:1-7, Ephesians 5:18)
We believe in the power and significance of the Church and the necessity of believers to meet regularly together for fellowship, prayer and the ‘breaking of bread’. (Acts 2:46-47)
We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and blessed lives in order to help others more effectively. (Psalm 103:3, Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:17, Mark 16:18)
We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ. (Hebrews 9:27, Revelation 19:20)
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.

We believe that the Bible describes marriage as involving one man and one woman, and has been instituted by God. (Leviticus 18:22, Leviticus 20:13, I Corinthians 6:9-10, Titus 1:6)
