Dave & Ela

Dave was appointed as our Pastor on the 1st of September 2018. Dave is well known locally and indeed throughout Scotland for his work as founder and CEO of Rookie Rockstars, a charity which uses music and counselling to improve the mental health and wellbeing of young people. He formerly toured internationally as an evangelist with his former band Royal Foundlings and has also previously served in full-time ministry as a youth pastor. Dave is passionate about family and unity and we are delighted that both these areas have grown significantly since his appointment as pastor. His first passion in life is his love for Jesus and the Gospel and he is excited to be working with the leadership team at Home Church as they prayerfully move the church forward and aim to make a bigger impact on the community of Kirkintilloch and of course now in Ballymoney, Stornoway, Glasgow and wherever else God calls us to serve! In September of 2021 Ela joined Dave on staff as Co-pastor of Home Church. As a couple they are passionate about equipping and releasing both men and woman of all ages to be who God has called them to be. We believe that the girls need a strong role model and leader to inspire and encourage them in their callings. For this reason we feel that this is a significant appointment and are excited to see what God does and Dave & Ela now work together to grow and to lead Home Church forward!
